This cabin is only accessible by boat or floatplane. However, of the four cabins on Nancy Lake this has the worst tie up for floatplanes. Bring your own wood as there is often a short supply on site.
Facilities:
Sleeps 6 (maximum 6) with a maximum stay of 5 consecutive nights. Nancy Lake Public Use Cabin 3 within the Nancy Lake State Recreation Area is a rustic cabin on the shore of scenic Nancy Lake. It is an insulated frame building and is equipped with wooden sleeping platforms, shelves, tables, a wood-burning stove (for heating only), and chairs or benches. The water supply is from the lakes. Please be sure to purify the water before using it.
Directions:
Summer access: this cabin is surrounded by private property and can only be reached by boat or floatplane.
Winter access: use the winter trail on the lake (one mile) by snowmobile, airplane, skis, snowshoes, or dog sled. Snowmobile openings announced when there is sufficient snow cover to protect underlying vegetation.
