Public Lake Cabins of Alaska

Nurses Cabin

Book Cabin

This is a historic cabin which has received a lot of love from the refuge area in keeping it fixed up. There is not a lot of options for tying the plane up since there is no protected areas on the large lake. The prevailing winds often hit the beach and preclude tying up overnight. It is preferred to drop off but not for extended stays with the airplane. There are lots of debris on the beach and surrounding areas.
