This site has been made for pilots and non-pilot outdoor adventurers looking to enjoy the public use cabin system, which is a unique treasure in Alaska. If we do not use the cabins we will lose them!
This is one of the best cabins in the public use system. It is located on a small protected lake with a nice beach that is protected to tie up the plane. The lake itself is .9 miles long so overloaded heavy airplanes may have a hard time getting out.
Facilities:
This cabin can accommodate up to 6 people and is equipped with bunk beds and no mattresses. There is a wood stove for heat. A woodshed is available on site and is usually stocked.
