Public Lake Cabins of Alaska

Red Shirt Lake Cabin #4

Book Cabin | Additional Cabin Information

There is no trail connecting the cabin to the trail system, so access is by the lake. The cabin sits on the opposite shore of the lake from the trail access. This is one of four cabins on the lake and provides little protection for float planes to tie up on. There is a sand beach and with little to no weather does not create a problem; however, in rough weather it could cause a problem. This is the second best option of the Red Shirt cabins for float planes. Fire wood is in short supply so be sure to bring some in.
