This site has been made for pilots and non-pilot outdoor adventurers looking to enjoy the public use cabin system, which is a unique treasure in Alaska. If we do not use the cabins we will lose them!
This cabin has been taken over and managed by the Wrangell Sportsman Club. Arrangements can be made through The Bay Company, (907) 874-3340 / (907) 826-2592 , info@baycompany.com
If improvements need to be made or there is something wrong with the cabin, please notify The Bay Company so arrangements can be made to fix or update the issue.
Directions:
The Thoms Lake Trailhead is on Forest Road 6267 (Nemo-Skip Loop Road) on Wrangell Island. Access is south of Wrangell 22 miles via Zimovia Highway to Forest Road 6265 then 6267.
