This site has been made for pilots and non-pilot outdoor adventurers looking to enjoy the public use cabin system, which is a unique treasure in Alaska. If we do not use the cabins we will lose them!
This cabin is out in the open which makes it easy to spot and find. The cabin sits on a nice beach near the inlet to the lake which could be used to tie up in calmer conditions. The lake is larger so waves could become a problem on the beach. 200 yards away on the creek is a protected place for the plane to be tied up. Bear activity in the area, use caution.
Facilities:
This is a standard cabin that features two bunk beds and a Nordic oil heat stove. There is also a storage shed for storing food or hanging meat.
